That bugs me. It's two thousand ten. Twenty ten sounds silly. Just my opinion.

I remember you saying this to me and we were talking about it at work the other day. They had some sort of etiquette (do you know how impossible it was for me to figure out how to spell that?) specialist on some tv show to decide how to say it. The proper way is....twenty-ten. When it was 1990, how did you say it? You didn't say one thousand nine hundred ninety, you said nineteen-ninety. Said like that it kinds makes sense. :P
Ugh, that makes sense. Doesn't mean I have to like it, right? It seriously sounds so weird to me... like taking the easy way out. I'm gonna stick to my guns and use way too many extra syllables and waste a lot of time over the next decade saying "two thousand (insert year)".
